Preventing Violence
Empowering Potential

JSF Impact Alliance was established to honor the life and legacy of Jeremy Scullark, a young entrepreneur from Chicago whose promising future was tragically cut short by gun violence. In his memory, we are committed to educating, empowering, and inspiring inner-city youth to overcome the challenges they face. Through violence prevention initiatives, mentorship, and leadership development, we equip young people with the tools and support they need to build safer, more fulfilling lives, paving the way for brighter futures within their communities.

Be The Change

We believe in being the change we wish to see in the world. Our mission is to empower Chicago’s youth and young adults to break the cycle of violence and transform their lives into stories of success and productivity. By providing mentorship, leadership development, and essential life skills, we help young people shift from surviving to thriving.

Rising Above Challenges

Losing Jeremy to Chicago’s gun violence was a heartbreaking tragedy, but it has fueled our commitment to ensure no more lives are lost. We are determined to combat violence in our city through education, empowerment, and accessible resources. By providing young people with the tools to make safer choices, build brighter futures, and rise above the challenges they face, we aim to create a stronger, more peaceful Chicago. In Jeremy’s memory, we are dedicated to turning pain into purpose, striving for a city where hope triumphs over violence.

“I turned the pain of losing my son to violence into a mission of empowerment and support for our youth. As an entrepreneur, I am investing in their future, teaching them how to break the cycle and build a brighter path forward. By equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and resources they need, I’m committed to transforming tragedy into hope and inspiring them to create a better future for themselves and our communities.”

Meet Tracey
Our President…

The day my son Jeremy was tragically murdered, I vowed to take action and keep his legacy alive. I partnered with Moms Demand Action, started a local chapter in downtown Chicago, and began holding conferences on gun violence prevention. I also launched the Jeremy Scullark Foundation (JSF) alongside his peers, announcing it on the day of Jeremy’s funeral as a promise to carry on his name.

Jeremy was a proud Chicagoan with a passion for sports, especially basketball, and a love for fashion, dining, and travel. To honor him, we host an Annual Awards Show at the House of Blues on his birthday, September 1st, celebrating youth making a change in Chicago. On April 19th, Jeremy’s Memorial Day, we hold an entrepreneurial pop-up shop downtown to inspire aspiring young entrepreneurs like Jeremy.

Through his foundation, I bring young people out of their neighborhoods, helping them see a brighter future and shift their mindsets. This work is not only my mission but also my way of keeping Jeremy’s spirit and legacy alive.
